When designing surveys, we may encounter situations where Multiple Choice, Checkboxes, or Ranking questions have multiple options, or Matrix questions have multiple sub-questions. In these cases, you can use SurveyCake's "Add Questions and Options in Bulk" feature to help you save time from creating options one by one.
Generally, the way to add options in single/multiple choice questions is to click the "+" symbol to the right of the options to add them one by one, as shown below:
Entering options is easy when they are limited, but what if there are 25 or more? Add Options in Bulk helps to paste all the options in one go.
For instance, if you would like to key in a large number of names as options for a multiple choice question..Select "Add Options in Bulk" and type in the options in the textbox (use Enter / line break to separate the choices)
Click Confirm to get all the options in a batch
"Add Options in Bulk" is useful when lots of options need to be entered, for Multiple Choice or Ranking question type for example. There is a similar function for Matrix question type: "Add Questions in Bulk"
After clicking the "Add Questions in Bulk" button, you can also use "Enter / line break" to input multiple matrix sub-questions at once!
